Naver Search Ad Integration
In adstage, you can review web and app conversion performance data generated by Naver Search Ad. In addition, by integrating Naver Search Ad campaigns and costs, you can view a variety of data for your active campaigns in the adstage dashboard.
Integrating the Channel
Using Naver's tracking relay site feature, you can review the conversion performance data of users generated by Naver Search Ad. With the tracking relay site feature, you can track the ad performance of every keyword with a single tracking link template. You do not need to create a separate tracking link for each keyword.
To use the tracking link template, you must first install the adstage Web SDK on the destination web page.
Installing the adstage Web SDK on Your Web Page
When you use the tracking relay site feature, after a user clicks a Naver Search Ad, they briefly visit the tracking relay site URL provided by adstage before reaching the final landing web page. Because this process is handled in a very short time, the user is unlikely to notice it. The page at the tracking relay site URL the user visited captures the ad information.
To use the tracking relay site feature in adstage, the adstage Web SDK must be installed on the user's final landing web page. You can find instructions for installing the adstage Web SDK in the guide below.
Entering the Tracking Relay Site URL in Naver Search Ad
Once you have finished installing the adstage Web SDK, you must enter the tracking relay site URL provided by the adstage dashboard into the Naver advertising system dashboard.
The tracking relay site URL is the URL found in the Channel Integration Tips tab under Integration > Ad Channel Integration > Naver Search Ad in the adstage dashboard. Copy this URL.
The tracking relay site URL has the structure shown below. The adstage parameters in this URL are mapped to the ad information data provided by Naver. For details about the tracking site URL, see the Naver Search Ad Help.

In the Naver advertising system, select the campaign you want to use the tracking relay site with, then click Edit. When you click Advanced Options, you can select Tracking Relay Site under the tracking feature. Enter the URL you copied from the adstage dashboard into the tracking relay site URL field. Click Save and Close to complete the setup.
Tracking Relay Site URL
You must enter the tracking relay site URL into each campaign for which you want to review Naver Search Ad performance in adstage. For example, if you are running 10 campaigns, you must enter the tracking relay site URL in all 10 campaigns to be able to review their performance.
Integrating Campaigns and Costs
adstage supports Naver Search Ad campaign and cost integration. Through campaign and cost integration, you can review data related to the ad campaigns running on Naver Search Ad and data related to the ad costs spent, all within adstage. Campaign-related data includes campaign names, ad keywords per campaign, and more.
Checking the Integration Information in Naver Search Ad
To integrate adstage with Naver Search Ad, you need the integration information below.
- CUSTOMER_ID
- Access License
- Secret Key
You can find the integration information under Tools > API Usage Management in the Naver advertising system.
The locations where the integration information is displayed are shown below. Please be careful not to reissue the access license and secret key during the account integration process.
Entering the Integration Information in adstage
Enter the integration information you found in Naver Search Ad into adstage.

In the adstage dashboard, go to Integration > Ad Channel Integration and select Naver Search Ad (naver.searchad).

Under Campaign and Cost Integration, enable 'Naver Ad Campaign and Cost Integration'. Then click Add Integration Account.

Enter the integration information for the Naver ad account you are integrating. The integration information required for account integration is CUSTOMER_ID, Access License, and Secret Key. Once you enter all three pieces of information, the campaign and cost data are integrated together.
Please Note
If any of the items below apply, campaign and cost integration will not proceed.
- Using a Naver Search Ad account that is already registered in the adstage organization being integrated
- Using a Naver Search Ad account for which you do not have permission
- Entering incorrect integration information such as CUSTOMER_ID, access license, or secret key
- The copied access license or secret key containing unnecessary whitespace
- Reissuing the access license or secret key before the Naver Search Ad account integration is complete

Once you have entered all three pieces of integration information, click Integrate.

You can find the integrated Naver Search Ad account in the list within adstage.
Cost Integration Status Update
adstage displays the status of an ad channel that has completed cost integration as Pending for up to 4 hours. If cost integration proceeds normally during this period, the status message will change to Success. Success means the integration is proceeding normally.
Managing the Integration Information
If you want to edit or delete the integration information, check the content below.
Please Note
The access license and secret key cannot be edited in the adstage dashboard. If you want to change the access license and secret key, you must delete the account and re-integrate it. For example, if you reissued the access license or secret key in Naver Search Ad, you must delete the existing account integrated in adstage and re-integrate the account with the reissued integration information.
Checking the Integration Status
Once you enter the integration information, you can check the current status of the campaign and cost integration through the status message. Even after you complete all integration settings, the status message remains Pending until the actual data is sent from the ad channel to adstage.
Please check the list of status messages and the update cycle of the cost integration data below.
Please Note
Naver Search Ad campaign and cost data does not include today's data.
For example, if adstage updates the campaign and cost data at 4 AM on March 17, the campaign and cost data generated from 4 AM on March 10 until before 12 AM (midnight) on March 17 is updated. The campaign and cost data generated on March 17 is updated at 12 AM (midnight) on March 18.
Collected Data
Once you complete cost integration, you can review the channel-level performance data of Naver Search Ad in adstage.

Precautions
Please note the following.
Tracking Links
- Parameters containing Korean characters may require URL encoding.
- The tracking URL must be set individually for every campaign.
Campaign and Cost Integration
- Discrepancies in figures may occur between Naver Search Ad and adstage. This is due to differences in aggregation timing, time zone, and filtering criteria.
- The access license and secret key cannot be edited in the adstage dashboard. If editing is required, you must delete the account and re-integrate it.
- If you edit a campaign name in the ad channel, it may take time to be reflected in adstage.
Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs during integration, please check the following:
- Verify Web SDK Installation: Verify that the adstage Web SDK is correctly installed on the landing page.
- Verify Tracking URL Setup: Verify that the correct tracking URL is entered in the Naver advertising system.
- Verify Integration Information: Verify that the CUSTOMER_ID, access license, and secret key are correct.
- Verify Permissions: Verify that the Naver Search Ad account has the appropriate permissions.
