RTB House Integration
Beta
The RTB House integration is still being verified with live advertiser accounts (the integration card shows a
Betabadge). If the numbers in adstage differ from the RTB House panel, please let the adstage support team know.
In adstage, you can automatically collect spend, impressions, and clicks from RTB House retargeting campaigns and compare them with other channels in a single report. The integration is set up in the Cost Integration tab under Integrations > Ad Channel Integration > RTB House, and it uses your RTB House panel (Clients Panel) login instead of a separate API key.
1. Integration Overview
| Feature | Availability | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Cost collection | Supported | Spend, impressions, and clicks per subcampaign, collected automatically every 4 hours |
| Conversion sending | On request | RTB House does not publish a postback specification. Request it from your RTB House account manager after cost integration is done |
| Tracking link template | Not available | RTB House does not publish click macros. You can still report traffic under the rtbhouse.ads channel with a custom deep link |
| Channel name | rtbhouse.ads | Shown as RTB House in report channel filters |
2. Before You Start
You need the three values below. All of them belong to your RTB House panel account; nothing is issued by adstage.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Advertiser Hash | The identifier RTB House assigns to each advertiser. RTB House's public documentation does not describe where to find it in the panel, so ask your RTB House account manager |
| Panel Login ID | The user ID used to sign in to the RTB House panel |
| Password | That user's password |
Please note
- API access must be enabled by your RTB House account manager. Ask them to enable API access for a panel user first, then enter that user's login ID and password together with the advertiser hash in adstage.
- We recommend a dedicated read-only panel user for AdStage rather than a team member's personal login. That user must have access to the advertiser you want to connect.
- API tokens issued in the RTB House panel under User > API tokens are not supported in adstage yet, because those tokens have a limited lifetime and must be rotated periodically, with the new token saved again. Please connect with a login ID and password.
3. Connecting Your Account
-
In the adstage dashboard, go to Integrations > Ad Channel Integration > RTB House and open the
Cost Integrationtab. -
Turn on the RTB House Cost Integration switch, then click
Add Integration Account. The button is disabled while the switch is off. -
Fill in the
Integration Information Registrationdialog:- Account Label: a name to identify this account in adstage (for example,
RTB House - Brand A) - Advertiser Hash
- Panel Login ID
- Password
- Account Label: a name to identify this account in adstage (for example,
-
Click
Integrate. Before saving, adstage signs in to RTB House with the values you entered and checks that the user can access the advertiser (the button showsVerifying...). When the check passes, the message "RTB House account has been successfully added." appears. The password is stored encrypted. -
The first collection starts automatically right after the account is added. Once the Status in the account list changes from Preparing to Success, the cost data is available in reports. This usually takes a few minutes.
If something is wrong with the values, one of these messages appears.
| Message | Cause |
|---|---|
| The key was rejected by RTB House. Please check the key and its permissions. | The login ID or password is wrong, API access is not enabled for that user, or the user cannot access the advertiser hash you entered |
| Could not reach RTB House to verify the key. Please try again later. | A temporary outage or request limit on the RTB House side. Try again in a few minutes |
| This account is already registered | The same advertiser hash is already connected in this organization |
If you have several advertisers, add one account per advertiser hash.
4. Managing Connected Accounts
Connected accounts are listed in the Cost Integration tab.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Account Name | The account label you entered |
| Status | Preparing (first collection in progress), Success (RTB House API connection is healthy), Failed (data could not be fetched). Hover over Failed to see a summary of the cause, and click Details for the raw error |
| Last Data Update | When cost data was last saved |
| Management | Delete icon. Click Delete in the Delete Account confirmation dialog to disconnect the account |
Good to know
- A Failed account is retried automatically at the next collection and returns to Success once the cause is resolved. Authentication errors (changed password, revoked access) must be fixed by a person, though.
- Even when the status is Success, no data may arrive, for example when no ads are running. If no cost data has been saved for more than 3 days, a warning appears next to the status; hovering shows "No cost data has been collected for N days. Please check the integration status."
- Credentials cannot be edited. If the panel password changes or you want to switch to another user, delete the account and add it again.
- Deleting an account stops collection for that account. Data already collected remains in adstage.
5. Collected Data
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Collection interval | Every 4 hours (1, 5, 9, 13, 17, and 21 o'clock KST) |
| Collection window | Last 30 days (D-30 to D-1, excluding the day of collection). The full 30 days are re-fetched every time, so figures RTB House restates later are updated |
| Data level | Subcampaign. The RTB House subcampaign name appears in the campaign field of reports; there is no ad group or creative data |
| Report metrics | Cost (Channel), Impressions (Channel), Clicks (Channel) |
| Channel conversions | RTB House attributed conversions (ATTRIBUTED) are collected and kept in the raw data as well. Because retargeting conversions are not app installs, they are not reported under Conversions (Channel) or Installs (Channel) |
| Currency | The currency of the RTB House advertiser account. If it differs from your organization's base currency, a converted amount is stored as well |
| Timezone | UTC (days start at 00:00 UTC) |
| Channel name | rtbhouse.ads |
6. Tracking Links and Conversion Sending
RTB House does not publicly document a click ID macro or a postback (conversion sending) specification. For that reason, RTB House is not in the ad channel list of tracking deep links, and there is no RTB House preset in network postbacks.
- What you can do now: create a
Custom Deep Linkand enterrtbhouse(orrtb house) as the channel. Traffic arriving through that link is reported underrtbhouse.ads, in the same channel as the cost data. If the landing URL contains anrtbclidparameter, adstage stores it as the RTB House click ID. - What to request from your account manager: once cost integration is done, ask your RTB House account manager for the click ID macro and the conversion postback specification. When you receive the specification (the URL to call and its parameters), you can enter it in the URL template of the link's network postback to send conversions. If you would rather not set it up yourself, forward the specification to the adstage support team.
7. Cautions
Please note the following.
- Numbers may differ between the RTB House panel and adstage. adstage collects by UTC day and uses attributed conversions (
ATTRIBUTED), so daily figures look different if the panel is viewed in another timezone or with another conversion counting convention. - Data for the current day is not collected. Reports show data up to yesterday.
- Changing the panel password, deleting the user, or disabling API access stops collection and sets the status to Failed.
- Days without ad delivery produce no data. Rows with zero spend, impressions, and clicks are not stored.
8. Troubleshooting
The account cannot be added
- Check the login: confirm that you can sign in to the RTB House panel directly with the same ID and password
- Check API access: ask your RTB House account manager whether API access is enabled for that user
- Check the advertiser hash: make sure it was entered exactly, without leading or trailing spaces, and that the user can access that advertiser
- Check for duplicates: see whether the same advertiser hash is already in the account list
The status is Failed
- Read the summary: hover over the status. If it says "Authentication failed — reconnect or check the key", the password was changed or access was revoked; delete the account and add it again.
- Wait for the automatic retry: if it says "The platform limited requests" or "Temporary error at the platform", adstage retries at the next collection.
- Contact support: if it keeps failing, contact the adstage support team with the raw error shown under
Details.
No data is collected
- Check the switch: make sure the RTB House Cost Integration switch is on
- Check delivery: confirm in the RTB House panel that there was actual spend in that period
- Check the window: the current day is not collected, and only the last 30 days from the time of connection are fetched
- Check for warnings: look for a warning next to the account status
9. FAQ
Can I connect with an API token issued in the RTB House panel?
No. adstage currently supports only the panel login ID and password. There is no field for an API token.
The campaign names in reports differ from the campaign names in the RTB House panel.
adstage collects at the RTB House subcampaign level and shows the subcampaign name in the campaign field. Check the subcampaign names in the panel.
Conversions (Channel) and Installs (Channel) are empty in reports.
This is expected. RTB House conversions are retargeting conversions and are not counted as app installs. Measure performance with Cost, Impressions, and Clicks (Channel) plus the event metrics adstage measures itself.
Can adstage send conversions such as purchases to RTB House?
Automatic sending is not available yet. Request the postback specification from your RTB House account manager, then enter it in the URL template of a network postback, or forward the specification to the adstage support team.
Is historical data from before the connection collected?
Up to the last 30 days from the time of connection. Older data is not collected.
